In our blog post series “Decoding Green Streaming“, we provide the first results of our measurements and analyses on energy-efficient streaming. In this three-part series, we explain our green streaming measurement infrastructure, explain how and what we measured and discuss the results. Finally, we provide initial recommendations and use our Fraunhofer FAMIUM GreenView solution to show how energy can be saved efficiently when streaming on SmartTVs.
